Safety and responsibility

A clearer process, not a substitute for yours.

Cheqzen helps teams run consistent SMS check-ins, reminders and escalation. Your organisation remains responsible for risk assessment, safety procedures, response decisions and emergency action.

A shared routine. Clear responsibilities.

The system supports. Your people decide.

Automation keeps the routine moving. Your team brings the judgement, local knowledge and action.

Cheqzen helps with

  • Scheduled SMS check-ins
  • Automated reminders
  • Escalation prompts
  • Safety activity records
  • Visibility of missed responses
See a practical example

A worker misses a check-in. Configured reminders and escalation bring the missing reply to the attention of the responsible people.

Your organisation remains responsible for

  • Deciding appropriate response actions
  • Setting safety procedures
  • Assessing risk
  • Responding to emergencies
  • Contacting emergency services when required
See your team’s next step

Your team contacts the worker, assesses the situation and follows its documented procedure. If urgent help is needed, act immediately rather than waiting for the workflow.

Cheqzen is not an emergency service. For urgent help, call 000 and follow your organisation’s emergency procedure.

Consistent prompts. Informed human action.

Put responsibility into practice

Six principles for a dependable routine.

Your procedure leads

Configure Cheqzen around your documented safety process, escalation contacts and response expectations.

Silence needs action

A missed reply is a signal for your team to follow its own escalation and emergency procedures.

Delivery has limits

Mobile coverage, device availability and provider delivery can affect SMS. Plan for communication failures.

Opt-out matters

A STOP reply pauses further safety messages. Arrange an alternative way to check in. Restoring messages must respect the worker’s choice and consent.

People remain responsible

Supervisors and administrators decide what action is appropriate for the worker and situation.

Evidence, handled carefully

Safety activity records support review and investigation. Access remains controlled by role.

When a reply is missing

A prompt to follow up. Not a reason to wait.

Select a stage to see how routine escalation supports your team. Timing follows your configured workflow.

Explore the missing-reply stages

No reply

A scheduled check-in has not received a recognised safety reply. This signals a need for follow-up, not proof that an emergency has occurred.

Reminder

Configured reminders give the worker another opportunity to respond. Timing and the number of reminders follow your safety workflow.

Supervisor follow-up

The nominated supervisor is prompted to contact the worker. Accepting follow-up does not confirm that the worker is safe.

Admin escalation

If the supervisor does not acknowledge within the configured time, administrators are alerted. Your organisation remains responsible for checking on the worker and taking action.

Clear routines help teams respond with confidence.

Make routine check-ins easier to manage, while keeping responsibility with the people and procedures that protect workers.
