Why Cheqzen exists
I’ve spent more than 20 years working in the elevator industry. It’s a high-risk environment where safety matters every day, and where people often work on their own, away from the rest of the team.
That experience is why I created Cheqzen. I understand the importance of knowing that someone is okay, especially when they’re moving between sites or working somewhere out of sight. A simple check-in can be a small part of the day, but the person behind it matters.
I wanted to build something practical that people would actually use. Not another complicated task for a worker, or more paperwork for the person looking after them. Not another app they need to download on their phone and manage as an individual, which always causes push back. Something that makes staying in touch easier and helps a team notice when follow-up is needed.
Safety is something I care deeply about. Cheqzen started with that belief, and it will stay at the centre of what we build.
